BAYC Sewer Pass Mint Hits High Sales of Over $10M

MAYC and BAYC Sewer Pass NFTs generate more than $10M in trading volume on secondary marketplaces in less than 48 hours

It’s undoubtably a proud moment for Yuga Labs. The OG collectible’s new NFTs, Sewer Pass, generated more than $10M in trading volume on secondary marketplaces.

Yuga Labs’ New NFTs – What’s the Fuss About? 

Since launching less than 48 hours ago, the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) community has been bustling with activity as more Sewer Pass NFTs mint.

A few days after the release, the OG NFT curators received $10M in secondary sales. Some of the most desirable NFTs are selling for $840k alone.

These passes allow lucky holders of Yuga Labs’ NFTs to partake in Dookey Dash, an “addictive and active” Web3 game that all NFT and metaverse fans are talking and tweeting about.

Dookey Dash is part of BAYC’s “Jimmy the Monkey” storyline. And, despite launching a day later than planned, Sewer Pass collectors can now take to the game to aim for a high score.

Once the game concludes, each player will reap the rewards – some receiving better treats than others – depending on their activity.

Act Fast for a Sewer Pass 

Sewer Passes are limited and available in four tiers (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4). All BAYC/MAYC NFT holders can receive a free Sewer Pass. However, some receive more desirable ones than others, depending on which NFT they hold.

For those wanting a Sewer Pass that are not holders of Yuga Labs’ OG NFTs, the passes are readily available on secondary marketplaces.

Note: The earlier users acquire a Sewer Pass, the higher chance of showcasing on the leaderboard. So, if interested, act fast!

Once acquiring a pass, users can partake in Dookey Dash and start earning rewards immediately.

Although it is not specified which prizes winners will win, collectors assume they will be rewarded “something special” following Yuga Labs’ success and past generosity.
